Hi, I’m Aliou BAH—a tech enthusiast, cybersecurity professional, and advocate for innovation and community impact. Based in New York City, my journey began in Dubreka, Guinea, where a deep curiosity for technology and problem-solving took root. Over the years, I’ve navigated the ever-evolving tech landscape, wearing many hats—Desktop Support Technician, Junior Systems Engineer, and IT Support Specialist—each role sharpening my expertise and reinforcing my passion for cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and digital transformation.

Currently, I’m advancing my knowledge in Computer Information Systems (Cybersecurity Focus) at New York City College of Technology, where I continuously adapt to emerging technologies and strengthen my ability to tackle complex security challenges. With fluency in French, Susu, Fulah, and English, I bridge cultural gaps, fostering collaboration and delivering impactful solutions in diverse environments.

But my story extends beyond technology. I am deeply committed to amplifying the voice and contributions of the African diaspora. This passion led me to author "Reimagining Africa: The Power of African Diaspora in Its Development", a thought-provoking exploration of history, economic impact, and the untapped potential of the diaspora. The book is more than just words—it’s a call to action, an invitation to engage in meaningful discussions and drive positive change.

 

Beyond the world of tech and advocacy, I am an avid traveler, immersing myself in cultures across Africa, Europe, and beyond. From the vibrant streets of Senegal and Liberia to the historic landscapes of Guinea-Bissau and Sierra Leone, each journey has deepened my appreciation for the interconnectedness of people and ideas.
